President Trump announces $2 billion investment in critical mining, $180 million in mining schools
President Donald Trump announced Friday $2 billion investments in critical mining and a total of $180 million in investments into mining schools to help bolster the American mining workforce.
The War Department will invest $80 million into multiple schools of mines and metallurgy, including the Colorado School of Mines, the South Dakota School of Mines, and Johns Hopkins University, the Pentagon said.
