在6月6日顺利出坞后，“爱达·魔都号”在试航前完成了艏侧推设备码头系泊试验、瘫船试验、失电试验等一系列试验，试航前全船内装区域也已达到亮灯状态。6月25日，经过多部门共同努力、协同合作，“爱达·魔都号”圆满完成了3台艏侧推设备码头系泊试验工作。此次侧推设备调试为3台设备联调，最终设备正式运行到报验完成总计用时6天，得到了船东、船检的高度认可。
据了解，瘫船试验与失电试验均为船检规范项目，是最典型的船舶应急状态下的功能测试。两项试验涉及全船设备运行，特别是主推进器的快速恢复功能，可保证船舶在海上的航行安全。
“爱达·魔都号”总吨位达13.55万吨，拥有2826间舱室，可容纳6500多人，被誉为“移动的海上城市”。根据计划，该船将于今年年底命名交付。

军盲，就是螺桨机时代，仅有的小日本“隼鹰”级是邮轮改航母，吨位大而载机量小，航速慢，防护差，根本不能执行舰队航母的任务, glorified aircraft ferry（飞机摆渡船）

你不光是军盲还是文盲：飛鷹就没参加Santa Cruz; 隼鹰号的舰载机最多只有俯冲轰炸机可能对USS Hornet (CV-8)造成了无关紧要的损伤，因为99式来此翔鶴号和它两舰

All of these aircraft attacked the carrier Hornet, which had been badly damaged by the attacks earlier in the day. American damage control measures had been partially successful, but one torpedo hit by a B5N from Shōkaku increased her list from 7.5° to 14.5° and near-misses by the dive bombers started enough seams in her plating that her list increased to 18°. The Americans finally ordered the ship abandoned and the last wave of dive bombers hit Hornet twice more, but inflicted little further damage.[16]
