Hi.

I have rotated the tires for my car this passed weekend.

My car is a 2012, cruze, eco trim, 1.4 turbo gasoline engine, 6 speed manual transmission. The current mileage is 76K. Last time I rotated the tire at 70K miles, so this is a 6k miles rotation.

I also found out one old patch (2 years ago?).

I changed these four tires in September, 2019 at Walmart. The total price was $326. The current tire mileage is 26K and they are almost 5 year old.

以前的rotation观点是对角换这样可以平衡胎纹前后沿的磨损(改变每个轮子的旋转方向)。但是最近这些年的观点是同侧前后对调就可以了，这样可以最大限度保持车的handling不变，这个尤其bba特别推崇这么弄。

是，我忘说了，directional tire只能同侧对调，不光是雪地胎，还有一些sports tire。

自已做，仔细点。其实不撬出来碎石子，戳破胎的几率才交近于零。

我在沃尔玛买得最便宜的胎，2019年，$328. 沒有免费倒胎。

再有一个19 mm 套筒，加个1/2 inch 长板手 ～$30。

噢，忘了说，还有个harbour freight 的torque wrench, $30.

确实开始攒工具要花钱，我最贵的是GM 专用读码器，$250.

不过我车买得使宜，2012 年，$17,500. 平时保险只买半保。自已做保养，车的highway mpg是43, 我常开到 50 mpg 上下，整算下来还是省钱。
