Re: 湾区大事件
卧槽,居然是真的。判了两年。但是不用坐牢了。
老婆(不知道是否离婚了)和岳母还在法庭上替他求情。
A father charged with throwing a baby onto a glass table during an argument with his wife in 2021 was sentenced to two years state prison, however he completed his sentence via house arrest and jail time, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
The boy, 17 days old, suffered two skull fractures after Bin Pan, 42, of San Mateo, allegedly threw the boy into a table 3 to 5 feet away. Pan told San Mateo police he had had enough of caring for the baby. The incident occurred Aug. 7, 2021, on the 2600 block of Corte De Flores, San Mateo and the baby was sent to a foster home.
The baby died Sept. 13 of unrelated issues, according to the DA’s Office. Prosecutors said the accidental death was at the foster home.
Pan pleaded no contest to felony child abuse and inflicting great bodily injury in January. During a hearing on Friday, June 9, Pan apologized to the court and said he has new insight into prioritizing family over work. His wife and mother spoke and they asked for leniency, according to District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
