网上有三个说法:
1. Braveheart generally refers to a person who displays exceptional courage, boldness, and fearlessness, often in the face of adversity or danger. The term has been in use for quite a while.
2. Braveheart is a 1995 American historical drama film directed by, produced by, and starring Mel Gibson. Gibson portrays Sir William Wallace, a late-13th century Scottish warrior who led the Scots in the First War of Scottish Independence against King Edward I of England.
3. Braveheart may now be used allusively to encapsulate a view of Scottish nationalism maintained against English oppression.
