don't buy Lenovo AMD. for two reasons

1. no thunderbolt. to be fair that's a AMD thing, not Lenovo fault.if that's an issue, buy Intel based.
2. Lenovo switched to low temperature soldering a few years ago. since then there were a lot of reported AMD cpu/motherboard connection issues shortly after 1-year warranty due to heating cycles. better have extended warranty if you intend to keep for a few years.

Low temperature soldering 是不是 Dell 也用？多年前一个Dell的笔记本不开机，主板放烤箱里面烤了烤就好了，然后抓紧时间卖了。

我现在主力笔记本是Lenovo p16s，黑五买的，7840u, 没发现你说的问题。

唯一问题是散热风扇基本不转，除非run一些大的计算才不情不愿嗡嗡哼唧两声， 不像以前intel机器，看个youtube散热风扇就开始工作。

用了三四个月了，没发现兼容问题。 office全家桶，python anaconda，matlab， steam里的几个游戏，adobe 没遇到啥问题。 用7840u的集显，没加独显，集显会占4G内存

记得p14s/p16s是有SD/TF卡插槽的

唯一缺陷是amd系列的本本没有thunderbolt，要接多个外接显示器不方便
