WASHINGTON, June 7 (Reuters) - The United States may have to deploy more strategic nuclear weapons in coming years to deter growing threats from Russia, China and other adversaries, a senior White House aide said on Friday.

Pranay Vaddi, the top National Security Council arms control official, made his comments in a speech on "a more competitive approach" to arms control that outlined a policy shift aimed at pressing Moscow and Beijing to reverse rejections of U.S. calls for arsenal limitation talks.

The U.S. currently observes a limit of 1,550 deployed strategic nuclear warheads set in the 2010 New START treaty with Russia even though Moscow "suspended" its participation last year over U.S. support for Ukraine, a move Washington called "legally invalid."

But, he said, Russia, China and North Korea "are all expanding and diversifying their nuclear arsenals at a breakneck pace, showing little or no interest in arms control."

The three and Iran "are increasingly cooperating and coordinating with each other in ways that run counter to peace and stability, threaten the United States, our allies and our partners and exacerbate region tensions," he said.

at one point, progozhin mentioned that normally wagner's daily deaths was around 20. then he complained a lot about it went up to 50s, 60s, and 90s, and even 100s. and higher from there, when he shouted something like "shoigu, where is the ammo?!!!", with a lot of wagner deads lying on the ground.

关于“azov旅”

在去年基本是指乌克兰军方（参加过bakhmut大战）的第3攻击旅，但现在为什么说是第12特战旅了呢？

这得同时谈论还很活跃的乌军第36海军陆战旅。

在mariupol城作战的大主力之二是：第36旅的主力和（通常殿后的）azov“营”的主力和它们各自的（直接）军事管理最高层。第36旅和不少其他人突围不成，旅长带众多人投降。很多天后，在突围无望、被解围/救也无望并且水源等早晚将会是严重问题后，36旅的代旅长带残部、azov营约700人和很多其他人共近2500人也投降。之前先后共约1500人投降。总共约4000人投降，差不多是一个旅！（因此本该早就突围。）

不在maruipol的36旅也有不少人，继续扩大后继续以较高的姿态地作战。从大河的东岸基本转到了kherson地区，而在前几个月又基本转回了大河东，最近几个月被转到了kharkiv地区最激烈的vovchansk。

不在mariupol的azov“营”/团或挂钩战斗单位，去年初整合成了乌军的第3攻击旅。在bkhamut一带很活跃。

而azov的主力本来是隶属于内政部，后来转到了国民卫队，基本在mariupol被灭（大部分被俘）。但他们的不少人通过俘虏交换被释放，包括那些最高指挥官（被软禁在土耳其）。但那些军官最终在去年7月登机回国，后来说要重新入伍。应该是在去年基本完成了重建。现在第12旅因此是azov的政军高层官认的azov旅。第3旅呢？该被称作“临时/代理性”azov旅？
