India and China have completely expelled each other's journalists from their countries.

OPEC has banned several media groups from attending its crucial production meeting in Vienna this weekend.

OPEC is due to meet with Russia on Sunday to agree on oil production policies for the second half of the year.

According to reports from people familiar with the matter, reporters from Reuters, Bloomberg News and Dow Jones, publisher of the Wall Street Journal, have been denied invitations to OPEC’s Vienna headquarters.

No reason was given for the exclusion of the media groups. OPEC, the Saudi Arabian Energy Ministry and concerned news groups either declined to comment or did not respond to requests for comment.

People familiar with the decision said it was instigated by Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s half-brother – who was coming under increasing pressure to raise the price of crude oil.

Earlier, Prince Abdulaziz has led OPEC and the broader OPEC + group, which includes Russia, to a series of production cuts since October, defying the White House in trying to boost oil prices during the energy crisis.

The Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko has established regional payments for injuries and deaths for the fighters of the Wagner PMC. Previously, they were received only by military personnel of the RF Armed Forces.
