If you do not replace it with new wire and simply crimp it, there is a good chance it is going to break at the same place soon.

其实电路不复杂，读一下线路图，回忆(复习)一下初中(二？)的串联，并联电路。heibor freight买个$6万用表,量一下故障处电压，保险丝处电压，等等，总能找到电断在哪里。
找到电线断处，米国有shrink tubing, 重连电线即可。

好灯泡接触不良呗。那两条腿，是两个破铁丝。弄个砂纸磨两下，用手拨起来一点增加对插座的弹力。然后再插。
知道哪里不好，修起来都简单。这个问题要用万围表量过去，找到故障点。用test light 也可以。
不用据说，马路上经常见到转向灯狂闪的，一看另一头的转向灭的
