医学院里有PhD program，毕业是MD+PhD，否则就只有MD。
法学院里和PhD等同的是学位是JSD或者SJD。

别胡说八道。 王四拿了这个严格来说都不算学位的东西， 还不行，他要考bar才相当于拿到了一个执业执照。能不能赚到钱还要看你这生意做得咋样。美国佬各种法学院多了去了。每年都有非常多的人走向法律服务市场。 去大firm高工资的是很少一部分。

JD和MD是专业博士，比PHD低半级，但比Master高半级。和PHD最大区别是不需要学术论文答辩。

将军们移民时，肯定都见到过不只一次这类表。

JD MD PharmD DO都是专业学位，严格来说都不是汉语里说的博士。协和八年制复制美国的医学教育制度，也只称“八年制医本科”。国内说的医学博士相当于PhD。
