I think it's a valuable point, 年 was a beast, to clearly picturizing 年 is rotating a whole circle DOES have conceptual level improvement, huge.

就跟四川火锅店吹嘘自己两千年火锅历史一样，都是瞎胡吹。24节气是阳历的。
