美国的历史真是惨不忍睹，只要一翻到处都是贩卖奴隶，使用奴隶，贩鸦片，杀印第安人，或者是搞抓巫婆的勾当，笑死个人。

美国人对黑奴有没有比其他地方稍微好一点？或者奴隶少一点？我以前还和旧美新版的lczlcz争论过这个话题，可现在都不记得他的论点是啥。我反正就是好奇google一下，看到不同的论据

奴隶制就是奴隶制，一种把人当牲口的制度。南方种族主义者说奴隶主对奴隶不会太差的理由是奴隶很贵，打坏了不合算所以奴隶主都爱惜奴隶从来不使劲打。 LOL。lcz平方大概是被这个观点感动了。

对，我也想起来lczlcz应该是这个观点，说大部分美国人对黑奴还不错。飘里面的嬷嬷就很受全家尊重哦。当然也有例外。然后我多半google出一些反面论据……不过我总觉得用现在的道德和政治标准去衡量历史，本来就是时空错乱的关公战秦琼的案例，没有任何意义。

很多华人可能是在国内被奴性文化熏陶过久不知道存在尊严和自由这些东西，判断是非的标准是东家对自己好不好，所以才会接受白人种族主义者的说辞。我也反对cancel历史污点的做法，飘虽然有给奴隶主洗地的嫌疑，但也反应了当时社会的状况，而且表演出色，还是可以看的。

在欧美近代的名大学（成名之前改名是常事），改名的大学应该很少见吧。 像”University of Wisconsin System “ 改成 ”The Universities of Wisconsin” 的小改动不算，或者改一些分校的名字也不算。

看来还有好几个university college啊。没研究过uc的历史，只知道ucl以平民化为标志，不同于king's college和imperial college的贵族化。

哈哈，我还查了一下插标卖首是不是成了首尔的代名词 象牙海岸这个新名字我还不知道。这个旧地名不知道怎么来的。还有海牙，都好奇怪。
