因为很多离钱近的公司只从IVY League招人，比如各种Investment Funds, Consulting Firms。

CS去华尔街好不好另当别论，但哈佛CS选择的机会比CMU大，这个应该没疑问。

total earnings ten years after enrolling to college, minus degree costs，这十年是从上大学那年开始算起，还是从毕业那年算起？
如果是前者，那么给出的金额就是大学毕业之后6年赚的钱总数，减去上大学费用。
对藤校而言，每年花费按9万算，四年36万，加上26.5万，可以得出毕业后前6年总收入为62.5万，平均每年10万出头。考虑到有些专业收入不高，有人不工作，有人读硕博、不是6年都在工作赚钱，这个平均数很可观了。
其他 elite private，USC一类，学费生活费跟藤校基本持平，算36万，加13.5万，6年总收入大约50万，每年8万多。
公立旗舰，上学费用每年算4万，四年16万，加14.8万，6年总收入31万，每年5万多点。
如果以上计算成立，那么入学十年后对比公立旗舰优于非ivy elite private，再过十年呢？再过二十年呢？

肯定不科学。搞教育研究，虽然门槛比其他很多领域低，一般也不会糊涂到这个地步。我看像是记者有意无意在捣糨糊，忽悠读者。

The only thing surprising is that Fordham was mentioned along with Rice and NWU. This is a school nicknamed ‘For Dumb’ not long ago.
