30A插座是不能用平均电流30A电器的。
充电器的标准就是14-30插座只能用24-25安的充电器

为啥？national electrical code（NEC）我之前看过，30A口就是可以使用持续30A电流的啊，我记得NEC上说的是有个80% rule但是那是在设计电路时候electrician要考虑的，不是电器需要考虑的问题。

这个其实很多electrician也经常讨论这事，实际上这个并不是mandate，只是NEC在设计电路时候建议电工留20%的余量来增加安全性。而且NEC对continuous load的定义是超过3小时的持续电流。

14-50的充电器接个转接头就能插在14-30的口上，不过use at your own risk.

厂家不做只是为了避免liability，毕竟万一着火了人家可是会全力找东西赖的，不能授人以柄。
