5-6人的混合行动小组构造都差不多：狙击手1， 手榴弹手1名，2-3机关枪手。

俄方攻击敌人时主要靠大炮压住关键点的火力（但也有不用的个例，出其不意，以有不被乌克兰守军察觉的效果），坦克是能够持续轰击具体的被作防卫用的建筑的主力。偶尔会呼叫飞机支援。
