
Details of the upcoming meeting of Chinese President Xi Jinping in Moscow

Statements by Russian presidential envoy Yuri Ushakov:

Part of the meeting will be held behind closed doors in a tête-à-tête format, where issues of relations between the two countries and the situation in the international arena will be discussed.

Xi Jinping will also meet with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

FSMTC head Dmitry Shugaev and Sergei Shoigu, together with Vladimir Putin and the PRC chairman, will also discuss military-technical cooperation.

Six vice-premiers will also take part in the extended format: Dmitry Chernyshenko, Tatyana Golikova, Alexander Novak, Yury Trutnev, Denis Manturov.
In addition, Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov and presidential aide Maxim Oreshkin will take part in the talks.

Issues in the field of energy are also planned for discussion. There will be meetings between representatives of Chinese energy companies and their Russian counterparts.

Articles by the leaders of the two countries will be published in the CCP's official newspaper , People's Daily, and Rossiyskaya Gazeta, which will evaluate the relationship between the two countries.

The military situation in Ukraine will be discussed. Russia appreciates China's neutral and fair stance towards the conflict.

Following the talks, the leaders will speak at a joint press conference on March 21, followed by a state dinner at the Palace of Facets.
