there are hard requirements like the tpm 2.0 and there are soft requirements. The 8th gen is a soft floor according to Microsoft, meaning you quite probably can run win 11 on a gen 7 proc, its just not gonna be officially supported.

本来 windows 11 就没有 10 好用，不能升级 就 不升级，无所谓

我的laptop是6th gen的。Win10 forever.
