It looks like to me that this TV show is somewhat related to the ideology of right wing Chinese parents because Yukong Zhao appeared in this video. They had biased views on US college admissions.

They kept saying transparency. What transparency are you talking about?

Some people commented under YouTube: it’s interesting that even with no affirmative actions in public California institutions, the young man didn’t get acceptance to anywhere in the UC system.

没有这个政策吧。。。。父子同在上市公司的都多的是。我还知道一个上市大公司，爸爸是CEO, 儿子是director的。。。。

I guess it depends on the company. Trump organization probably allows hiring their direct children.

我很好奇他申请了Google的工作，一般高中生不会想到去申请，不申请就不会有结果
也许是他爸爸起了作用，就象他自己说的别的孩子不会有这样的机会

没有这个说法。夫妻俩在一个公司都很常见。就是google这样的公司。你能pass面试，谁管你是谁的亲戚。
只要不是直接report的关系。

我们工厂有一家都在同一个site的，老公和儿子是工程师，老婆是生产调导。我们是巨无霸上市公司噢。

學校招生絕對是歧視亞裔

要讲理，自己就要把材料全部拿出来
成绩单、学校排名、短文、课外活动、考试分数...
都申请了哪些学校，什么专业
然后大家才能公平评判
学校如果确实拒绝地不合理，它们面子上声誉上也不好看
比如说他在高中进了前9%，或者全州进了前15%，报了所有的UC, 第二志愿是非热门专业，却没有被录取，那一定是有问题的，一告一个准，但是显然不是这样的
上新闻闹开来也可以，但是学校录取学生和公司招聘员工标准是两码事，有的学校想培养的是能改变社会的未来的领导人物，不是能挣大钱的，这是它们的自由了，要证明歧视是很困难的
拿谷歌工作来说学校歧视，这个是说不通的
