那是去哈佛的想学医的少，而去JHU的很多都是冲着premed去的。 大数学家的逻辑不行啊。

JHU每年招1500个本科生。
按楼上说的，那就是1050个本科生入学时有学医的倾向。
最后每年只有494个学生申医学院。说明一半以上倾向学医的学生在本科都被weed out了。
只能说明JHU的premed 宽进严出。

坚持学医的孩子最后全国统计有40%几的申请人成功进入医学院。2%，3%的录取率看着吓人，一部分是因为每个申请人平均申请18所医学院，分母被放大了18倍么。同时学校一般录两倍的人，来读的最后是录取的一半。

那总体而言，学医这个方向不算太疯狂，近一半的人能够实现行业理想，可能就读的医学院名声有些差别。

对。去年总共有5万三千多人申请，最后录了2万2左右。女的比男的多点。

每个孩子都有自己的优点。父母的任务是帮助孩子发现，找到这些优点。你带孩子看了几个大学， 让孩子上一个可以自由选择专业的学校，去发现自己。

我们家的娃也是在试的阶段。娃的长处是有韧性。和她十多年练游泳有关。希望能坚持下去。

学医不容易，一定要是真爱。我家老大坚决不学医，虽然我觉得他性格适合当医生。老二倒是说想当医生，但太小了，主意一天一个样。
