我当前的保险是GEICO，所以我就在GEICO的网页上试着QUOTE加第二辆车，下面是我QUOTE的数据：

911: $1,393.12
model3: $1,223.08
modely: $1146.27
etron: $874.90
polestar2: $761.56
lyriq: $756.28
ioniq: $678.09

我非常惊讶，菜车MODEL3的保险都快赶上911了，是跟它同价位的ioniq的快两倍了。
我有点不信，就上网上查，结果很多报道提到TESLA的保险高：https://www.forbes.com/advisor/car-insu ... to-insure/。
我又想到以前有人说买特斯拉自己的保险，我打开特斯拉的APP一看，没找到NJ。是不是特斯拉保险不支持NJ保险？
怎么特斯拉的保险跟别的车差这么多？

然后我十分不理解有的人说“特斯拉的保险便宜，你看我买到了多么多么便宜的保险”。这个论断意义不大。

你的保险便宜不代表你的车保险便宜，有可能是因为你买的险额低，也有可能是你换了家便宜的公司。
譬如我的车：如果我把LIABILITY降了，把Uninsured Motorist取消了，把DEDUTABLE升高了，我每个月能省70%的保险。

我觉得要比较保险，只能像我这样比较：同一家公司，同一个人，同样的险额，然后唯一的变数就是车。
另外我在NJ，买不了特斯拉官方保险。

myeclipse 写了： 2024年 5月 21日 14:38 似乎是真的。身边有2个朋友的MY今年保险到期不给renew，farmers的，坐标南加。rivian倒是可以，就是贵，大概3000一年。

malta 写了： 2024年 5月 21日 15:12 我擦，3000一年，省那点油钱都交保险了，电车的意义何在啊。再考虑到二手贬值率的差别，恐怕也不会有人去买5年以上的rivian二手车，买电车绝对是赔本买卖
