The Google–CFS Power Purchase Deal
• Google has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to buy 200 MW from CFS’s inaugural ARC plant in Chesterfield County, Virginia—enough to power a small city .
• This marks the first-ever corporate fusion PPA, a significant milestone for commercial fusion .
• The ARC plant is not expected to deliver power until the early 2030s, assuming CFS meets all technical and regulatory milestones .
• In addition to purchasing power, Google increased its equity investment in CFS, matching its earlier investment made during a $1.8 billion funding round in 2021 .

this is google's investment for at least 10 years in advance

我的意思是说，不是说这事事永远差50年吗？咋变成10年的事了？是不是最近7-8年有啥突破了？

今天听到中文，我还不信。查了华尔街日报，是说的fusion啊？

几年前就有大厂（巨硬？）的新闻了。这是Startup融资的需要。看，有销路。到时候你得发得出电才行。

商业ppt当然要说10年，然后10年后说再需要10年，不然谁给你钱？

科学家的ppt当然是说50年，不然搞砸了没法担责任
