The amount you can earn for donating plasma in Ohio depends on the plasma center, how often you donate, and the incentives offered:
Parachute: In Sidney, Ohio, you can earn up to $130 for your first two donations, and more for additional donations. You can also earn extra money with bonuses and referrals.
BioLife Plasma Services: New donors can earn up to $800, depending on the center location. Some say you can earn up to $900 for your first eight donations.
CSL Plasma: New donors can receive over $700 in their first month.
In general, you can expect to earn $30 to $70 per donation. With incentives, you can make $400 or more a month, and some high-frequency donors can make up to $1,000 a month.
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) limits plasma donations to once every two days, and no more than twice in a seven-day period. Your body quickly replaces the lost plasma, so you can donate fairly frequently.
