我的downdraft + cooktop 不是二合一， 是两个分开的 built-in Viking appliances。 Downdraft 紧贴在 cooktop 后面, 二者单独操作。

Downdraft 的主要问题是以前出过故障(每隔几分钟自动上升和下降, 不受控制），后来自行恢复正常。

我之前不知如何清理这个Downdraft （油污严重）， 准备与 Cooktop 一起换掉。没想到这个更换过程不顺利 （我去过 Best Buy, Lowe's, Home Depot, AJ Madison。没找到好的方案）。

无奈之下，约了个 Viking appliance ...

最近我也遇到类似的问题 (replace downdraft + cooktop， 原因是烹调时，水溢出造成短路而跳闸，无法使用)。 有两家公司来量尺寸， 结论是需要将现有的 cut-out 弄大点，或者保留 downdraft， 只换 cooktop。任何一个方案都有可能造成台面出现缝隙。

由于市面上没有任何 downdraft + cooktop 与现有的 cut-out 吻合， 只好尝试修理。
