“Lying asshole. Beglov did not provide any assistance after the attack. Moreover, I believe that it is his fault that there is no security in the city that would allow this to be avoided. All that happened was a few people who came from the Housing Office. Simple, ordinary men, on their own initiative, came to remove the windows from the roadway, when everyone present at the event was simply in shock, and the investigating authorities blocked the perimeter. Who remains in the St. Petersburg Legislature today? Russians make 'further gains' in Bakhmut - as commanders and Wagner fighters 'pause feud'
Russian forces have made further gains in embattled Bakhmut and now Ukraine's supply route is "severely threatened", according to British intelligence.
One of the reasons for this "regained momentum" is that Wagner mercenary fighters and Russian commanders have "paused their ongoing feud" and started working together, the UK defence ministry said in its latest update.
Bakhmut, a city in the east of Ukraine, has become the site of fierce fighting for several months, with both sides losing so many troops it has been described as a "meat grinder".
Since late March, Russia's advance had mostly stalled but now it has "likely advanced into the town centre and seized the west bank of the Bakhmuta River", the MoD said.
As a result, Ukraine's key supply route to the west of the town is under threat, which could hamper their fighting efforts.
"Russian regular forces, likely including airborne troops, have probably reinforced the area and Russia is again using artillery more effectively in the sector," the MoD added.

Ukraine is holding out against Russian forces in Bakhmut, despite the situation becoming "difficult", a Ukrainian military spokesman has said.
Serhiy Cherevatyi said Ukraine has controlled the situation in the eastern city, which has been the site of fierce fighting for months now,
He admitted that Moscow has been concentrating all its efforts on capturing the area and has seen tactical success in some places, but was paying a high price as a result."
"All decisions are taken with the aim of not allowing the enemy to break through our defence, to inflict maximum damage to it and preserve personnel," he said.
His comments come after the UK's Ministry of Defence said Russia has made "further gains" in Bakhmut and now Ukraine's supply route to the West of the area is "severely threatened".
