新就业形态劳动者成为职工队伍重要组成部分，产业工人队伍发展壮大。新就业形态劳动者主要是货车司机、网约车司机、快递员、外卖配送员等群体，以男性青壮年为主，农业户籍人员比例较高。产业工人平均年龄38.29岁，农业户籍占52.1%，平均受教育年限13.16年，第三产业的产业工人比例在增长，77.6%的产业工人集中在制造业和建筑业。
职工受教育程度普遍提高，技术技能素质显著提升。第三产业职工平均受教育年限为14.5年，高于第一产业职工的12.5年和第二产业职工的13.0年。专业技术人员队伍年龄主要处于30—50岁之间，集中在教育、制造、卫生和社会工作等行业。
