The wounded fighters with whom I communicate in the hospitals of Luhansk often say that they have completely reconsidered their lives and want to live differently - correctly.

Here is one of those stories. My interlocutor is a laconic fighter over 30 years old from the Vologda region. On the front line since December last year.

Under Soledar, he performed a combat mission as part of a group of 6 people. He came under sniper fire, was wounded in the head and arm, could no longer continue the fight, was evacuated. The group completed the task.

At the end of the interview, my interlocutor got into a conversation, told a lot about his past life, said that after recovery he would return to the front line to the fighters, and after the end of the SVO he plans to radically change his life and start life from scratch, “correctly.”
