I have established a national flagship centre for Mandarin Excellence Programme at Beths Grammar School; been the first to introduce Mandarin Chinese to a comprehensive school’s main curriculum in East Sussex with significant funding (combined with 25K annually) that led our large MFL to a successful turnaround. In 2022, at Ark Greenwich, my department lifted the bar again with a validated P8 score of +1.29 and my own French class +1.62. My scholars’ results are the highest in the network and even nationally. This was not a data game (90% of the y11 did an MFL this year).
There is no secret to hard-work, high expectation, care, and experience. Drawing upon the previous practice in a single gender school, a requirement improvement school, and a grammar school, my aim is to enable each child or young person to be a successful learner, a confident individual, a responsible citizen and an effective contributor.
My leadership style started with drive, enthusiasm and management where now matured into dynamic, care and empowerment. Never lose sight of development my staff and why we are in education summarise it all.
When I am free, I’m a Les Mills group exercise instructor and is often involved in voice-over, presenting events and delivering workshops so as to share practice regularly. Also, I facilitate student exchange programmes between China and UK schools.

呵呵。此人大连外国语学院毕业，居然还去英国读了两年语言。专业学英语，英语还这么差，对方说“到了罗马，做罗马人”（入乡随俗），他却连这个简单常用的成语都不懂，问对方“你是罗马人吗？”，傻乎乎的，言谈中还有许多用词错误。
