What type of oil filter wrench/adapter are you using?
For the impact tool, make sure to put a maximum of 1 adapter that is impact grade. Each adapter reduces the impact strength by a quarter to a half.
Give it a full 30s of impact.

As long as there is good clearance and no chance of slipping, just use a quality wrench, and a BFH. Use the hammer to hit the end of the wrench. A few good hits with a 8lb hammer should do it. I have never really needed my 16 lb hammer.

If you can use your feet to turn the wrench, try it. Your leg can probably put down several times the force of your hand.

Since you are not dealing with a seriously rusted bolt, a long extension wrench got to work. If it does not, put a pipe on the wrench. If it still does not, stick another extension wrench to the other end of the pipe.

I once had to do a double wrench trick to break a super tough bolt in an impossible place. At least you should have plenty of space to do whatever you like.

If you are using the typical Toyota oil filter wrench, at certain point, you will start to worry about the wrench breaking at the 3/8 hole. Most of those fit also a 21 or 22 mm socket. Do not apply more than 100ft/lb to the 3/8 hole use a socket instead.

20 oz? 2.5 lb? You just need to make sure your tools can take it. A good quality wrench is a must. Cheap HF ones may break.

你说的第二种方法 是用锤子敲这个wrench的把手吗？这个没试过。明天准备去take5 问问。

你那个叫oil filter socket,那个一般用来拆filter的话很容易打滑.

如果你拧不动,那纯粹就是你的工具不对.用oil filter socket加一个长一点的ratchet,要么打滑要么一拧就开,不存在拧不动的可能性.

哦你是这种啊，这种我之前弄过，prius上用的也是这个。这种不能用impact gun容易打坏，就是用一个长一点的ratchet或者breaker bar拧就行。我记得这个的特殊工具是1/2“ drive的？如果这样就更简单了autozone有那种24寸的breaker bar不可能拧不开的。你如果用一个不到1尺长的ratchet的话(多数n件套带的就是这种)要用很大的力，或者套个铁管拧也行。

不需要拧得特别紧。不漏油就行了。

是塑料的，跟奔驰宝马一样，里面换掉的是cartridge，还有o ring，这个塑料的是holder要留着。

这玩意impact数据没用，因为里面有橡胶O形圈，你impact打上去的动量很多都被橡胶吸收了。拧这玩意还是breaker bar来的实在。
