只是把车从一角顶起来,车身形变竟然严重到把座舱玻璃挤裂了!记得以前老站的啥猫经常拿这个黑奔驰。

- Windshield stress crack. I was changing the oil this weekend (just before 10,000 miles). It was mid-low thirties out and I was doing it in front of but outside of my garage since it is always full of some other project. I jacked up the driver side at the correct jacking point using the factory jack. The entire weight was on the jack, but I did have a jackstand under the a-arm just in case. During the change, I kept hearing a pop/crack sound (maybe 5-6 times) and I kept checking the jack to make sure it was secure. When I was finished and I go to start it up, I noticed a crack coming from the driver side cowl and heading to the passenger side. Since then, it has completely extended to the passenger side cowl. There was no crack at all when I pulled it in the driveway and I have checked and I can find no signs of impact. I am meticulous about this van since it is the most expensive one we have ever purchased and I intended to keep it for 10 years. I notice every change. I double check the doors after someone parks too close to me as I fear door dents. I was able to find two other instances of a stress crack as well.

不过这个车确实有一些小毛病,毕竟是Chrysler的嘛。

当年我单边顶起Subaru outback,车门就打不开了

Pacifca有个迷人的Plug-in Hybrid版,纯电里程是30+miles,MPG是30
也就是每天如果接娃,不跑长途的话,可以几个月不用加油。这也是市场上唯一的Plug-in Hybrid Minivan
还能拿联邦和州的tax incentive
但是!这个型号有个致命伤。就是变速箱超容易坏。而且是在路中间坏,已经有人因此在高速上熄火被撞死了

Facebook上有人发起过投票,发现坏的几率高达25%,不分制造年份

这种随机次品率高,更像是生产环节品控差。也就是Chrysler的工人工作不认真,制造了各种次品。
也就是每天如果接娃,不跑长途的话,可以几个月不用加油。这也是市场上唯一的Plug-in Hybrid Minivan

我们以前一直说要买一辆minivan,去试驾了一下Sienna果断放弃了,中间/后排乘坐体验很差,晃,甩得厉害。现在买车还要等6-12个月拿车,

这车出去玩租过1次hybrid, 底盘低,刹车软,不如搞个durango。

I chose Toyotas because of their vault-like quietness. I’ve experienced this in mostly Camrys of various years.
Excuse the gripes in the following post.
Enter the 2021 Sienna. Holy sh!t this thing is noisy. Hard plastic on hard plastic, great job.
Middle seat squeak - Some have it, some miraculously don’t. I have it in one seat (driver) and not the other. Sounds like a rat gnawing on metal as I drive. I posted about this before, tried to fix, same result. Sprayed some dry lube to the linkage and taped the wires. Still squeaks. Pulling the rear latch loop quiets it down. I’m about to tie a string from the loop to the mid back hook to keep a tension on it. Then I found it might be the child seat hooks between the seat bottom and back making that noise. Anyone have instructions on how to take the seat apart (not out of the car or the bottom plastic cover)? I want to do some further checks but have no idea how the seat comes apart.
Front driver side suspension boot - Ye ol boat noise, like i’m sailing the seas when I backup. No fix yet. This should happen on cars GM makes, not Toyota, but yeah they share suppliers.
Door seals - Another version of Ye ol boat noise. I have a steep driveway and whenever I drive up from a turn, the entire chassis flexes. BTW, Great chassis, Toyota. The TNGA is stiff. Right. The Sienna rides like a truck, ever ride in the back? Front soft, back stiff, yet that rear cannot hold a tow. Anyway, all door seals need to be lubed. I got a lube made specifically for door seal lubes, claims German cars need it, and so far it has quiet it down, till the next wash or it dries.
And someone found with the OBD tool that Toyota feeds engine noise through the speakers. Just awesome.
