中国式的教育当然过于压抑，但是像这种纵容小孩自由天性的做法，可以造就天才，但是对有抑郁倾向的孩子真的好吗？

我觉得是北大的悲剧。李是91级生物系的，那个时候要军训一年。

从一开始北大是以liberal arts college的模式来办的，和中国的大环境显然格格不入。作为top2, 国字号校友这么多年就出了一个李克强。

北大的环境让很多人不能认识到自己的幸运，觉得学校是非常toxic, 社会是toxic, 中国文化toxic, 对于李来说，连中文都toxic. 出国的还好，留在国内的很多人就这么废了。

北大的环境让很多人不能认识到自己的幸运，觉得学校是非常toxic, 社会是toxic, 中国文化toxic, 对于李来说，连中文都toxic. 出国的还好，留在国内的很多人就这么废了。

北大toxic是指竞争激烈，压力大？北大照说比中国大部分地方更注重/发扬个性。

她从小在家也不愉快，说她妈是个control freak，好像也有点不正常是吗？最后在精神病医院去世？以前讨论的记不清楚了，也懒得考古。她爸人不错，但不敢反抗她妈，不敢保护两个女儿。我感觉她可能有这方面的遗传基因，再加上家庭和学校不快，就这样了。

她家估计主要是遗传因素，但是在中国这种孩子早早的被社会责任限制住，不会让他们去探索各种fluid gender identity这类把个人自由无限放大的教育理念。未必能成天才，但是大概能活下来

李翊云的生物系是全员出国的……以前听北大生物系同学说，从大一开始就全系考托考G。我们系考的人非常少。

听说她大学时就是很平常的一个北大女生，说活轻声细语，很温柔的样子。大学就爱写作，也和同学提过跟她妈妈关系不好，但大家都没想太多，以为跟别人teenager与父母的关系差不多的那种不好。

很多有抑郁的人平常是看不出来的，我们这里有孩子自杀，老师和同学听说都很惊讶，自杀之前外人看不出来有什么异常。附近高中一个孩子自杀后，有个本地孩子分享他自己高中的时候多次想到自杀，主要是来自peer pressure，跟家长无关，除了他自己没跟任何人讲过，别人看他都觉得是个上进阳光的好孩子。
