Officers were dispatched Friday afternoon to the Streets of Brentwood, an outdoor mall on Sand Creek Road. They received reports that a “large preplanned gathering” was taking place there, and over the course of the afternoon police said over 300 juveniles “from outside the area” arrived in cars and rideshare vehicles.
As the crowds increased, police said some juveniles began pushing merchandise off shelves, running erratically into traffic and starting “physical fights” around the property.
Four juveniles were arrested for misdemeanors and one was taken into custody for an alleged assault on a peace officer.
