Vance：效忠美国宪法没用。祖上打过内战才算美国人
Vance认为，如果相信美国精神，效忠宪法就算美国人，那么几百万黄皮都通过这种方式入籍了。这些人居然想和他这样的白皮平起平坐，简直是滑天下之大稽。
Vance还说，只要你爷爷的爷爷打过内战，哪怕他站在反美叛国，反对宪法的一方，你也比这些“仅仅认同美国宪法”的新移民更有资格称为美国人。
这已经99.9%接近纳粹德国的blood and soil nationalism了。在Vance这种白右眼里。只要能创造纯白理想国，完全可以把宪法当作擦屁股纸。

He explained that such a definition “would include hundreds of millions, maybe billions of foreign citizens who agree” with the principles of the Declaration of Independence
By the opposite token, Vance said, conceiving of American citizenship “purely as an idea” would “reject a lot of people that the ADL would label as domestic extremists, even though those very Americans had their ancestors fight in the Revolutionary War and the Civil War,” he said,
“I think the people whose ancestors fought in the Civil War have a hell of a lot more claim over America than the people who say they don’t belong,” he concluded.
