这是非常典型的共济会手法。

共济会的作法就是既要用暗杀震慑政界人物，又要给自己有组织犯罪脱罪。

例如当初给暗杀Regan的凶手脱罪就说他为了向一个女明星示爱，发疯了要去刺杀总统出名。问题在于，当初的陪审团竟然采信了他的说法，不给他判刑。
