官网什么都有 - 整个托卡马克就是反应堆了, 美国西屋到底负责哪一部分呢?安装工作吧
This includes the assembly of the ITER tokamak, with its estimated one million components, and the parallel installation and integration of plant systems such as radio frequency heating, fuel cycle, cryogenic, cooling water, vacuum, control, and high voltage electrical.
Hundreds of thousands of assembly tasks, organized into construction work packages, have been carefully planned and organized by ITER engineers and schedulers. In its role as overall assembly integrator, the ITER Organization is assisted by contractors and a Construction Management-as-Agent (CMA).

Construction of the massive edifice required just over 10 years and millions of work hours. It was carried out by European Domestic Agency contractor VFR (comprising French companies VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Razel-Bec, Dodin Campenon Bernard, Campenon Bernard Sud-Est, GTM Sud and Chantiers Modernes Sud, and the Spanish firm Ferrovial Agroman). The construction contract signed for the Tokamak Complex also included the construction of the ITER Assembly Building; the Radiofrequency Heating Building; technical infrastructure for heating, ventilation and air conditioning; a cleaning facility and site services building; the cryoplant compressor and coldbox buildings; the control buildings; the fast discharge and switching network resistor building; and three bridges. A second contract, signed in 2013, covered the mechanical and electrical equipment in the building suite (electricity, lighting, fire protection, elevators, HVAC ...).

The distribution of in-kind fabrication tasks was based both on the interests and the technical and industrial capacities of each of the Members. The fabrication of key components is shared broadly—for example, the fabrication of the vacuum vessel sectors is shared between Europe (5 sectors) and Korea (4 sectors); the central solenoid is a collaboration between the United States and Japan; divertor manufacturing and testing is divided between Europe, Russia and Japan; India and the United States are sharing responsibility for ITER's cooling water systems; the blanket system will be produced by China, Europe, Korea, and Russia; and six ITER Members have been involved in the production of the magnet system.

US fusion installations have reached temperatures of several hundred million degrees Celsius. New facilities came on line in the 2000s in China (EAST) and Korea (KSTAR).
