There's a discrepancy in the numbers regarding the amount of food aid that has entered Gaza, depending on the source.
As of August 3rd, 2025, COGAT (the Israeli military branch responsible for overseeing aid into Gaza) reported that 1,200 aid trucks entered Gaza in the previous week.
The UN's World Food Program (WFP) said their teams delivered 350 truckloads of food aid into Gaza in the past week alone. They also stated that since the May 21st reopening of border crossings, WFP has delivered 22,000 tons of food aid into Gaza.
The Hamas-run Gaza government media office reported that more than 600 aid trucks had arrived since Israel eased restrictions in late July.
On August 5th, 2025, Al Jazeera reported that only 36 aid trucks entered Gaza on the previous Saturday.
