看到我买三袋，老头说从来没吃过，不知道怎么吃，我跟他说，要么直接削皮吃，有点硬。要么拿个苹果香蕉放在一个密闭容器2-3天变软吃。

莫非柿子是中国特产？老美看起来从小没吃过。也就Costco 还会搞些来卖，估计也主要是中国人买。

估计石榴也是？

石榴他们有汁卖。

我以前去U pick摘柿子，拿到办公室给同事吃，只有一个人以前吃过。他爸在日本，台湾的军营服役，他小时候在日本和台湾住。后来他爸回来后，在他家院子里种了几棵。 后来他爸不在了，没人吃，他说总是掉一地的熟透了的柿子。他有严重的糖尿病，不能吃。

以前没有，好像最近一两年才有的

这倒不知道。查了一下，果然柿子有很多种，大部分不能吃，其中可食用的柿子以中国和日本的最多：
