Verizon
They only use two QCI classes, 8 and 9, for their consumer plans.
QCI 8 is assigned to postpaid plans (other than Start Unlimited), Xfinity Mobile's By The Gig plan, Xfinity Mobile's Unlimited plan (this requires an additional $20 for their HD Pass which also includes 1080p video streaming). Additionally, US Mobile's Super LTE SIM offers priority data on 5G devices on all plans.
QCI 9 goes to literally everything else. Verizon's Start Unlimited plan, branded prepaid, Visible, US Mobile Super LTE, Mobi, and all of the other prepaid MVNOs.
ATT
They use QCI 7, 8, and 9 for consumer plans.
QCI 7 is only on ATT's postpaid Unlimited Elite plan.
QCI 8 is assigned to the majority of ATT's plans as well as their own branded prepaid, Cricket, and the plans offered by MVNOs other than the exceptions below.
QCI 9 is assigned to the base Cricket Unlimited plan, ATT's base Unlimited prepaid and Unlimited Starter postpaid plans, as well as all plans once their data bucket is exhausted. Boost Mobile's new plans are QCI 9 too. SafeLink and likely other TracFone brands are QCI 9 as well.
**A thing to note with ATT MVNOs is that speed caps are common - H2O caps at 8Mbps on LTE and 4Mbps on 3G while Straight Talk caps their speeds at 75Mbps on ATT’s LTE.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile uses QCI 6, 7, 8, and 9.
QCI 6 is applied to all of T-Mobile's postpaid and prepaid plans (except for Essentials) and Google Fi which also has QCI 6 as well.
QCI 7 is applied to T-Mobile’s Essentials plan as well as all MVNOs (besides Google Fi) such as Mint, Metro By T-Mobile, US Mobile GSM LTE, and Tello.
QCI 8 is believed to be for any hotspot usage on a consumer plan.
QCI 9 is for their home internet and all plans once their data bucket is exhausted.
