- customizable greeting message.
- auto- step light when person approaches.
- look very cool.

是的， 布线是最麻烦的地方。 NVR在地下室Utility room里面， 需要两根线到一楼门口。 一根到门外的， 原来的门铃是Cat3线， 不能用， 但可以拉线。 另一个室内装铃，就完全新做了， drywall上打孔穿线到地下室， 再走到server。

他家NVR用的啥系统？原来用过大华的，设置不是很友好

里面主要是管理network， 还可以管video， VOIP， 门锁。

每个主机能管的东西不一样。 NVR就只能管Video和Access。 但是hard drive的容量可以非常大。主要是给small business用的， 每个楼层和入口的4k video 加backup可以存一个多月。

This Ubiquiti cloud service is free?
I guess NVR will be pushing higher resolution video to your phone directly, after learning your IP from the cloud service?

Yeah. Their stuff is expensive to purchase. But usage is free.

The high resolution video stays in your NVR. When you access it from app, you are seeing compressed version ( you can set preferred resolution but high resolution slows playback). Most ppl only want high resolution when downloading clip.
