Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., the Taiwanese contract chipmaker that makes semiconductors for Nvidia among others, is reportedly eyeing a second site in the U.S.
The Taiwanese daily UDN on Tuesday reported that TSMC is considering Dallas, Tex, for a second chipmaking hub, alongside the current one in Phoenix, Ariz.. The news outlet cited unnamed “sources in the semiconductor equipment” industry.
